Dual-axis analog accelerometer for vibration and tilt sensing
The AD22293Z is a dual-axis (X, Y) analog-output accelerometer from the iMEMS® series, delivering a ±5g measurement range with a sensitivity of 312 mV/g. The analog voltage output simplifies signal chain integration — no digital interface overhead, just a direct connection to an ADC input on the host MCU or DSP. The adjustable bandwidth from 0.5 Hz to 2.5 kHz lets you tune the noise floor versus response time — useful for separating low-frequency tilt from higher-frequency vibration in a single sensor node.
Package, supply, and board-fit considerations
Housed in an 8-lead CLCC package measuring 5x5 mm, the AD22293Z mounts on a standard surface-mount footprint. Nominal is not absolute max: the supply voltage absolute maximum is 7V, so a 5V rail with 10% tolerance stays inside the safe operating area. The output is ratiometric to the supply — a 5V rail gives a 0.25V to 4.75V swing at ±5g, which maps cleanly to a 5V ADC input range.
