Product details

60 MHz CMOS XO on the BOM line

The ASVMPC-60.000MHZ-LY-T3: The 60 MHz output at CMOS level sits squarely in the clocking range for embedded processors, serializers, and PHY reference inputs — the kind of frequency you spec for a clock tree rather than a peripheral bus. The enable/disable pin is the load-sharing lever here: active draw is 35 mA max, dropping to 22 mA when disabled — roughly 13 mA saved by shutting the oscillator before the system goes fully dark. That matters in battery-backed or wake-on-event designs where the MCU is asleep but the clock domain must still respond. The MEMS resonator inside replaces the traditional quartz crystal — no unit-to-unit crystal orientation sensitivity, and the part tolerates board-level shock and vibration better since there is no resonant crystal element to crack. That is the practical difference Pure Silicon™ makes in a field-replaceable unit. The 6-SMD exposed pad package is the board-integration item: the pad ties to ground and acts as the thermal relief path.
