MEMS XO identity and CMOS output
The ASVMPC-30.000MHZ-T3 is a 30 MHz CMOS XO built on a silicon MEMS resonator — the Pure Silicon series from Abracon. Unlike a traditional crystal oscillator, the MEMS resonator inside is inherently more resistant to mechanical shock and vibration, which matters in portable equipment and battery-powered designs where the board sees motion. CMOS output means it drives standard digital logic directly without an external buffer, sitting cleanly within the frequency band used for microcontroller clocks, Ethernet PHY references, and USB full-speed timing. Supply rail and enable/disable control
Draw is up to 35 mA when enabled and drops to 22 mA in disable state, so the enable pin gives the host a way to cut the oscillator's own current draw without toggling the supply rail. The enable/disable function is listed as the device function in the spec table. (;;;).
It is not an automotive or industrial-extended grade; designs targeting -40 °C or engine-bay environments need a different part. The exposed paddle on the bottom must be soldered to a properly sized thermal land under the device; a floating pad degrades both mechanical retention and the oscillator's thermal path.
