The ASE2-44.000MHZ-ET: The ±100ppm frequency stability covers the typical commercial temperature band of -20°C to 70°C — adequate for indoor consumer and industrial control applications but not the extended automotive or outdoor temperature ranges that demand a tighter stability grade or a different part family. Draws up to 15 mA in active operation — a moderate figure for a single-frequency CMOS oscillator at 44 MHz. When the standby (power-down) function is asserted the supply current drops to 10 µA maximum, which is what earns the part its standby designation and makes it suitable for battery-backed or duty-cycled designs where the clock node must hold a quiet budget between active bursts.
