Transient protection for 376 V rails
The YAGEO 1.5KE440A/B is a 1500 W Zener TVS diode designed to clamp transients on DC buses and signal lines with a nominal voltage up to 376 V. The unidirectional configuration (one channel) is polarity-sensitive; use it where the protected line is always positive with respect to ground.
Package and board integration
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, the 1.5KE440A/B is a through-hole part that solders into a 0.036-inch (0.9 mm) diameter hole on a standard PCB or terminal block. The DO-201 package body is glass-passivated for high-temperature stability and moisture resistance — store the reels dry, but the hermetic seal means no special bake-out before assembly. The wide temperature range ensures the clamping voltage stays within spec across the full ambient range of an outdoor enclosure or engine bay.
