60 A total, dual common-cathode in TO-247AD
The VX60202PGW-M3/P is a Vishay trench Schottky rectifier rated 60 A total average rectified current (30 A per diode) at 200 V reverse voltage, housed in a through-hole TO-247-3 (TO-247AD) package. The dual-diode common-cathode configuration shares a single cathode tab, so the package carries two independent anodes — useful for center-tap or OR-ing topologies where one heatsink handles both die. AEC-Q101 qualification means the rectifier is screened for automotive-grade reliability: -40°C to 175°C junction temperature range, 100% avalanche tested, and PPAP-ready for production builds.
Forward drop and switching speed for the application
Forward voltage is 920 mV max at 30 A per diode — the trench structure keeps Vf lower than a planar Schottky at this current density, which directly reduces conduction loss in the rectifier stage. Classified as fast recovery (≤ 500 ns, > 200 mA Io), the diode switches cleanly in a 50-100 kHz SMPS secondary or a DC-DC converter output without the reverse-recovery spike a PN diode would generate. Reverse leakage is 100 µA at 200 V rated voltage — this is the thermal runaway boundary: at 175°C junction the leakage multiplies, so the heatsink must keep the die below the derating curve for the actual load current.
