3750Vrms isolation in a 4-SSOP package
The VOS627A-3T is a single-channel phototransistor optocoupler from Vishay, housed in a compact 4-SSOP (4-SOIC) surface-mount package. It provides 3750Vrms galvanic isolation between input and output, with a transistor output rated for 80V and 50mA continuous. The input accepts both AC and DC drive, and the current transfer ratio is specified between 100% and 200% at a forward current of 5mA.
CTR and switching speed for logic interfacing
With a CTR range of 100% to 200% at 5mA, this part delivers a consistent gain margin for driving logic inputs or low-power loads. Typical rise and fall times are 3µs each, with turn-on and turn-off times of 6µs and 4µs respectively. The 400mV maximum Vce saturation keeps the output swing close to the rail, important for 3.3V or 5V logic families.
