Triac output with 600 V blocking and 1.5 kV/µs dV/dt immunity
The VOM3053-X001T is a single-channel Triac output optocoupler from Vishay, designed for switching AC loads up to 600 V off-state voltage with a 3750 Vrms isolation barrier between the LED input and the Triac output. With a minimum static dV/dt of 1.5 kV/µs, it resists false turn-on from fast transients on the AC line — a common failure mode in inductive load switching that a lower dV/dt part would not survive.

The Triac output handles up to 70 mA RMS on-state current (It(RMS)) — sized for small AC loads like solid-state relays driving solenoid valves, indicator lamps, or contactor coils. A typical hold current (Ih) of 300 µA means the Triac latches on once triggered and drops out cleanly when the load current falls below this threshold near the AC zero-cross — the part has no internal zero-cross circuit, so the turn-off timing is set entirely by the load current and line frequency.
