What is the VOD3120AG and what does it drive?
The VOD3120AG is a Vishay single-channel optoisolated gate driver designed to drive IGBTs and MOSFETs in power-conversion stages. The optical coupling provides 5300Vrms isolation between the controller side and the power stage, which is the typical requirement for motor drives, UPS systems, and industrial inverters that need reinforced insulation per IEC 60747-5-5.
