3750Vrms isolation in a 4-SOP package
The TCMT1101 is a single-channel optocoupler from Vishay with a phototransistor output, rated for 3750Vrms galvanic isolation. It comes in a 4-SOP (4.40 mm width) surface-mount package, making it a compact choice for breaking ground loops in industrial control, PLC digital inputs, and isolated power-supply feedback paths.

Switching speed and timing margin
Typical rise and fall times are 5.5 µs and 7 µs respectively, with turn-on and turn-off times of 9.5 µs and 8.5 µs. This is adequate for 10–100 kHz switching in isolated gate drives or status feedback loops, but not for high-speed data isolation — that calls for a digital isolator or a faster optocoupler family.
Industrial temperature and supply voltage
Rated for -40°C to 100°C operating temperature, the TCMT1101 fits outdoor telecom cabinets, motor drives, and factory-floor I/O modules without thermal derating. The output transistor can handle up to 70 V and 50 mA continuous.
