Housed in a 4-SIP GBU through-hole package, it mounts directly into a PCB with the four leads forming the AC input and DC output — no heatsink compound required for the current level, though the copper traces on the board serve as the primary thermal path.
Maximum forward voltage is 1 V at a 6 A forward current — this is a test-condition figure, not the continuous rating; the 3.8 A Io rating is the continuous DC output the part sustains with the die temperature within the -55 to 150°C junction range.
