Active production — Vishay GBU6B-E3/45
This single-phase bridge rectifier is rated for 100 V peak reverse voltage and delivers 3.8 A average rectified output — suitable for general-purpose AC-to-DC conversion in power supplies and industrial controls.
Package and board-fit — GBU through-hole
Housed in the 4-SIP GBU package, the GBU6B-/45 mounts through-hole with a standard 5.08 mm pin pitch — the same footprint as other GBU-family bridges, so a board layout for a 4 A or 6 A GBU part accepts this drop-in.
Forward drop and leakage — what the numbers mean for your BOM
Maximum forward voltage is 1 V at 6 A pulsed — at the 3.8 A continuous rating the drop is lower, keeping conduction losses under 4 W in a typical 50/60 Hz bridge. Reverse leakage is 5 µA at rated 100 V — low enough that self-heating from leakage is negligible in most applications, though it doubles roughly every 10°C above 25°C junction.
