600 V, 35 A — the ratings that size the supply
Rated for 600 V peak reverse voltage and 35 A average rectified output current — this bridge converts a 240 VAC or 277 VAC line into a DC bus at up to 35 A continuous, which covers bulk supplies for motor drives, battery chargers, and welding equipment. The 1.1 V forward drop at 17.5 A means conduction loss is about 19 W at half-rated current — the GBPC-W package with its center mounting hole lets you bolt the bridge to a chassis or heatsink to pull that heat away. Reverse leakage is only 5 µA at the full 600 V blocking voltage, so the bridge does not waste power in the off half-cycle — important when the rectifier runs continuously in a high-line application.
Through-hole GBPC-W — mounting and thermal path
The 4-Square GBPC-W package has four through-hole pins for the AC inputs and DC output, plus a center hole for a bolt or screw that clamps the metal baseplate to a heatsink — this is the standard footprint for 25–50 A bridges and mates with existing PCB layouts and heatsink brackets.
