Texas Instruments lists the LM3S2412-EQC25-A2T as Obsolete.
ARM Cortex-M3 core at 25 MHz
This core architecture delivers a balance of processing throughput and power efficiency suited for control-loop applications in industrial automation, sensor hubs, and CAN-based networked nodes. On-chip memory includes 96 KB of Flash for program storage and 32 KB of SRAM for data — enough to run a real-time operating system kernel with a moderate application stack, or a bare-metal control loop with buffered sensor data.
Peripherals and connectivity set
The part integrates a CANbus controller, multiple I²C, SPI, SSI, and UART/USART serial interfaces, plus IrDA and Microwire — covering the common fieldbus and sensor communication protocols in factory-floor and vehicle networks. A 3-channel 10-bit ADC is built in, along with PWM outputs, a watchdog timer, brown-out detect/reset, and power-on reset, reducing the need for external supervisory ICs.
