Active production — still a current BOM line
The LMH6626MA/NOPB is an active-production dual voltage-feedback op-amp from Texas Instruments, part of the LMH® high-speed amplifier family. The headline spec is the 1.5 GHz gain-bandwidth product, which together with a 400 V/µs slew rate and 95 MHz -3 dB bandwidth positions this part for high-speed signal conditioning, ADC drivers, and video distribution where settling time and harmonic distortion matter.
Supply rails and single-supply operation
The supply span runs from 5 V minimum to 12 V maximum — this covers both single-supply rails (5 V, 9 V, 12 V) and split supplies (±2.5 V to ±6 V). The 5 V floor means it works directly off a common 5 V logic rail without an extra regulator. Each channel draws 12 mA quiescent supply current, so the dual package pulls 24 mA total. That is typical for a 1.5 GHz-class amplifier — the speed comes at a power cost, and the thermal budget in the 8-SOIC package assumes reasonable airflow or moderate ambient.
Package, temperature grade, and output drive
Housed in an 8-SOIC (0.154-inch body width, 3.90 mm) with supplier device package 8-SOIC — the standard narrow-body SOIC footprint. Tube packaging; no reel or tape option in this order code variant. Rated for -40°C to 125°C operating temperature, which covers industrial and automotive under-hood environments. The 80 mA output current per channel is enough to drive 50 Ω loads or multiple ADC inputs in parallel.
Input characteristics and DC precision
Input offset voltage is 100 µV typical — adequate for 8- to 10-bit signal chains without auto-zeroing. The 13 µA input bias current is typical of a bipolar input stage; this part is not intended for high-impedance sources above 10 kΩ where bias current error would dominate. The voltage-feedback topology means the gain-bandwidth product is constant — closed-loop bandwidth drops proportionally with gain. At a gain of +10, expect roughly 150 MHz small-signal bandwidth, still well above most video and IF amplifier needs.
Sourcing and compliance
ROHS3 compliant — no exemptions for lead or restricted substances, which simplifies global shipping and end-product regulatory filing. Sourced to order against the BOM quantity through independent distribution.
