1.5 kOhm common-mode choke for 3.6 A power rails
The TDK ACM90V-152-2PL-TL00 is a 2-line power line EMI filter from the ACM-V series, designed to suppress common-mode noise on DC power rails. Its core specification is 1.5 kOhms impedance at 100 MHz, paired with a maximum DC resistance of 16 mOhm, meaning the insertion loss at the noise frequency is substantial while the voltage drop across the filter at full load stays under 60 mV. Rated for 3.6 A continuous current and 80 VDC, this filter fits into intermediate bus rails, automotive power distribution, and industrial 48 V or 24 V lines where conducted emissions must meet CISPR 25 or similar limits.
Board-fit: horizontal 4-pad, 9.00 x 7.00 mm footprint
The 4-pad layout is typical for a common-mode choke — two pads for the primary winding, two for the secondary — and the component sits flat on the board, not standing upright. The 16 mOhm DCR at 3.6 A produces about 0.2 W of self-heating at full rated current — negligible for the board thermal budget, but the pad copper area under the component should follow the datasheet land pattern to keep the temperature rise within spec.
Active lifecycle, automotive-grade supply
The AEC-Q200 rating and wide temperature range make this a preferred line item for automotive BOMs — no last-time-buy pressure, no PCN-driven rush.
