Common-mode impedance and current handling
The TDK ACM4520-421-2P-TL000 is a two-line common-mode filter from the ACM series, rated for 420 Ohms impedance at 100 MHz. This impedance peak is centered on the conducted-emission band for switching power supplies and data lines — the filter attenuates common-mode noise where it couples into the DC rail or signal pair. It carries 2.4 A continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 55 mOhm.
Package and board integration
The four-pad layout is a standard common-mode filter footprint — the two input pads and two output pads keep the differential pair symmetric. The low profile suits board-to-board spacing in compact power supplies or I/O filter banks. The temperature grade is commercial/industrial — not automotive-qualified, so it fits controlled environments rather than under-hood or engine-bay applications.
