Common-mode filtering for differential signal pairs
The TDK ACM2012-102-2P-T001 is a 2-line common mode filter from the ACM series, designed to suppress conducted noise on differential signal lines. Its 1 kOhm impedance at 100 MHz targets common-mode noise in the 100 MHz band — typical for USB, CAN, LVDS, and automotive Ethernet interfaces. Rated for 190 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 1.5 Ohm, the filter adds minimal series loss to the signal path while attenuating common-mode interference.
Automotive-grade qualification and operating envelope
The ACM2012-102-2P-T001 carries AEC-Q200 qualification, the passive-component stress-test standard for automotive electronics. This covers temperature cycling, moisture resistance, mechanical shock, and solder-heat tolerance — the filter is suited for under-hood and cabin modules that see -40°C to 105°C ambient.
