Rated for 8 A continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 6 mΩ — the power dissipation at full current is I²R = 0.384 W, well within the part's thermal budget in free air. The 700 Ω impedance at 100 MHz is the common-mode attenuation point; below that frequency the choke's impedance rolls off, so it is most effective at suppressing conducted emissions in the 30–300 MHz range typical of switching power supplies and high-speed digital lines. The 80 VDC voltage rating covers 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V automotive and industrial buses with margin — a 48 V nominal rail sees transients up to 60 V, and this choke's rating handles that without derating the insulation.
