Surface-mount phototransistor, top-view detection
The ROHM SML-H10TBT86 is a surface-mount phototransistor in a top-view package, designed for detecting infrared or visible light incident from above the component. The 32 V collector-emitter rating and 30 mA switching current suit it for low-power optical sensing circuits where the phototransistor drives a logic input or a small load directly. Rated for continuous power dissipation of 0.08 W, the device operates across -30°C to 85°C, covering most indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The surface-mount footprint and top-view orientation simplify board layout for through-hole or edge-detection applications.
