The RF1601T2DNZC9 is a 16 A average rectified current per diode, 200 V reverse voltage, fast recovery diode in a common-cathode pair configuration. The 30 ns reverse recovery time (trr) places it in the super-fast class — it recovers in under 50 ns at rated current, which matters for the switching losses in a 50-100 kHz PFC or output rectifier stage where a standard-recovery part would overheat the junction. Forward voltage is 930 mV typical at 8 A — the Vf curve is flat enough that conduction loss stays predictable across load swings. Reverse leakage is 10 µA at the 200 V blocking voltage, and the junction is rated to 150 °C, so the thermal margin in a TO-220FN package is adequate for continuous 8-10 A per diode with a heatsink.
The TO-220-3 Full Pack (also designated TO-220FN) is a fully isolated full-mold package — the backside tab is encapsulated, not exposed copper. This eliminates the need for a mica insulator or thermal pad when bolting to a grounded heatsink. Through-hole mounting with a 2.54 mm pitch on the leads; the three pins are anode1, cathode, anode2 in the common-cathode pair. Supplied in tube packaging — each tube holds a standard quantity for the TO-220 outline. The package is ROHS3 compliant per, with no added bromine or antimony in the mold compound.
