Dual PNP pre-biased pair in a small SOT-753 footprint
The FMA1AT148 from ROHM is a dual PNP pre-biased transistor configured as an emitter-coupled pair, integrating two matched 22 kΩ base resistors (R1) and 22 kΩ emitter-base resistors (R2) in a single SC-74A / SOT-753 surface-mount package. With a 250 MHz transition frequency and 300 mW maximum power dissipation, it is sized for low-power switching and signal conditioning in compact, space-constrained designs. The 50 V collector-emitter breakdown voltage and 100 mA continuous collector current rating cover typical interface and driver loads.
Pre-biased resistors simplify the BOM
Both the base and emitter-base resistors are integrated at 22 kΩ each, eliminating two external resistors per transistor from the board. The 300 mV saturation voltage at 500 µA base current and 10 mA collector current keeps on-state losses low for a logic-level interface. Minimum DC current gain of 56 at 5 mA, 5 V confirms the pre-biased pair delivers consistent drive strength across the rated collector current range.
