High-speed switching for automotive signal conditioning
The DAP222ZMT2L is a standard switching diode from ROHM Semiconductor, configured as a 1 pair common anode in a single SOT-723 package. It is qualified to AEC-Q101, the automotive discrete semiconductor reliability standard, meaning it has passed the temperature cycling, ESD, and life tests required for under-hood and cabin electronics. Each diode handles 100 mA average rectified current with a reverse recovery time of 4 ns — fast enough to clamp inductive flyback or shape edges in a CAN transceiver's common-mode choke circuit without adding dead time.
80 V blocking and low leakage at temperature
Forward voltage is 1.2 V maximum at 100 mA forward current, which sets the conduction loss at 120 mW per diode at full load — well within the SOT-723 package's thermal capability when the junction temperature is rated to 150°C.
