Active dual CMOS op-amp for low-power signal chains
The ROHM BU7242SNUX-TR is a dual CMOS operational amplifier with rail-to-rail output, designed for battery-powered and space-constrained analog front-ends. Its 900 kHz gain bandwidth product and 0.4 V/µs slew rate cover audio-band filtering, sensor buffering, and general-purpose signal conditioning up to a few hundred kilohertz. The CMOS input stage draws only 1 pA input bias current, preserving signal integrity from high-impedance sources like photodiodes or pH probes.
The 8-UFDFN exposed-pad package (VSON008X2030, 2 mm × 3 mm body) keeps board area small; the exposed pad needs a thermal via to the ground plane for rated output current of 12 mA per channel. Active lifecycle status means no near-term end-of-life risk for production builds. The part is ROHS3 compliant, with no exemption flags.
