Class D stereo amp — 15W per channel into 8Ω
The BM28723AMUV-E2: The BM28723AMUV-: The ROHM BM28723AMUV- is a 2-channel Class D audio amplifier delivering 15W per channel into an 8Ω load, with a supply range from 10V to 24V. It's built for medium-power stereo applications where efficiency matters — think active speakers, soundbars, automotive audio head units, or industrial panel annunciators that need clean audio without a heatsink the size of a brick. The 32-VFQFN package with exposed pad keeps the thermal path short when you stitch it to a copper plane.
Supply rail and thermal reality
The 10V to 24V supply range covers common automotive battery rails (12V nominal, 24V truck) and standard industrial DC supplies. At 15W into 8Ω per channel, expect the supply current to pull around 2A peak per channel at 12V before losses — the exposed pad on the VQFN032V5050 package needs a solid via array to the ground plane to keep the junction below the 85°C ceiling.
