Dual 1A high-side load switch with integrated protection
The BDS2EJAAGUL-E2: The BDS2EJAAGUL- from ROHM is a dual-channel high-side power switch rated for 1A continuous output per channel. Each channel switches a 3.0V to 3.6V load rail independently with a 1:1 input-to-output ratio.
Protection set and operating range
The switch integrates current limiting (fixed), over-temperature shutdown, reverse-current blocking, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). This protection set allows the part to serve as a self-protected port switch for downstream peripherals that may short or draw excessive inrush. Operating temperature spans -40°C to 100°C ambient — suitable for industrial control enclosures and outdoor telecom gear that sees seasonal temperature swings but stays below the 105°C+ automotive band. The input is non-inverting and the switch activates on a logic-high enable; no external Vcc supply is needed because the switch is self-powered from the load rail.
