Product details

The BD9V100MUF-CE2 is a step-down buck regulator from ROHM's Automotive series, qualified to AEC-Q100. The 16 V to 60 V input range covers both 12 V and 24 V automotive electrical systems. At the low end, 16 V minimum leaves headroom for a 12 V battery during cold-crank (down to ~6 V on the bus, but the regulator needs the 16 V start threshold); at the high end, 60 V max absorbs a 48 V load-dump transient without an external clamp.

Rated 1 A continuous output with a synchronous rectifier — the low-side FET replaces the usual Schottky catch diode, which pulls the efficiency up at low output voltages where the diode forward drop would otherwise dominate the loss budget. Output is adjustable from 0.8 V up to 5.5 V via an external resistor divider.
