Bipolar stepper driver with integrated power stage
The BD63610AEFV-E2: The ROHM BD63610AEFV- is a fully integrated bipolar stepper motor driver combining control logic and a DMOS power stage in a single 20-HTSSOP-B package with an exposed pad for thermal management. Rated for a 600 mA continuous output current from a 19 V to 28 V supply rail, it drives the two phases of a bipolar stepper directly through four half-bridge outputs.
Step resolution and interface
The parallel interface accepts step and direction commands; the internal translator supports full-step and half-step (1/2) resolution, giving the designer a choice between torque and smoothness without an external sequencer. Operating from -25 °C to 85 °C, the part suits indoor equipment and moderate industrial environments where the ambient stays below the upper limit.
