Active lifecycle, 1A LDO for fixed 6V rails
The BD60GC0MEFJ-LBH2: The input voltage range extends to 14V max, so a 12V or 9V intermediate bus is a clean source; the 1.2V max dropout at full load means the input must stay above 7.2V to maintain regulation at 1A.
Dropout, quiescent, and protection
At 1A output, the dropout voltage is 1.2V max — this is the headroom needed between input and the 6V output; below that the output falls out of regulation. Quiescent current is 1.2 mA, typical for a 1A LDO, not a micropower part. The enable pin allows external on/off control without a series switch. The 8-SOIC with exposed pad (8-HTSOP-J) requires a thermal land on the PCB to pull heat out of the die at 1A.
ROHS3 compliant per the manufacturer.
