The BD37543FS-E2: The ROHM BD37543FS- is a 3-channel Audio Tone Processor designed for automotive audio head units and infotainment systems.
Supply rail — 7V to 9.5V, no margin for slop
The supply window is tight. A 7V to 9.5V range means the part expects a regulated 8V or 9V rail — not a raw battery bus or a 12V automotive line. If your board carries a 5V-only rail, you need a boost or a separate LDO. The 3-channel count confirms it can process left, right, and subwoofer or centre channels independently.
Package and footprint — 32-SOP (0.213" body)
The BD37543FS- comes in a 32-SOP package with a 5.40mm body width (0.213") and is also designated as 32-SSOP-A by ROHM. Surface-mount only. The narrow body means the pad pitch is tighter than a standard SOP — verify your PCB land pattern against the ROHM mechanical drawing before committing the layout.
