The 7V to 9.5V supply window is typical for automotive-grade audio processors that run from a regulated 8V or 9V rail derived from the vehicle's battery bus. Five independent channels allow simultaneous processing of front/rear left/right and a subwoofer or center channel — a common configuration for automotive sound-stage tuning. The I²C control bus lets a host MCU adjust tone curves, volume, and mixing coefficients without additional analog control lines.
