Fixed 10V rail, 1A continuous, TO-252
The BAJ0CC0FP-E2: The BAJ0CC0FP- is a single-output positive linear regulator from ROHM, delivering a fixed 10V output at up to 1A continuous. Input voltage range goes to 25V max, giving enough headroom for a 12V or 24V rail to regulate down to a clean 10V for analog supplies, relay coils, or gate-drive bias. The 2.5 mA quiescent current is modest — not ultra-low-power, but fine for always-on rails where the load current dominates the budget.
PSRR is 55 dB at 120 Hz — that is the ripple-rejection figure at the mains rectifier frequency. For a 10V rail fed from a full-wave rectified 24V bus, 55 dB knocks a 1Vpp ripple down to about 1.8 mVpp at the output. Above 120 Hz the rejection rolls off, so if the upstream supply has switching noise at 100 kHz, expect less attenuation; a small LC filter ahead of the input helps. On-chip protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and over-voltage — the regulator shuts down rather than letting the pass transistor cook or the output spike. The over-voltage clamp is useful if the input rail glitches above 25V; the regulator limits the output rise instead of passing the surge straight through. The TO-252 tab is the main heat path — a decent copper pour on the PCB keeps the junction below the thermal shutdown threshold at 1A.
