Active production — fixed 7 V rail for industrial loads
The BA07CC0T is an active-production linear regulator from ROHM Semiconductor delivering a fixed 7 V output at up to 1 A continuous. The -40°C to 125°C operating temperature covers industrial enclosures, motor-drive cabinets, and outdoor telecom shelters without derating the output current.
PSRR and ripple rejection from a rectified line
That keeps the 7 V rail clean enough for analog front-ends or reference circuits that share the same board. Above the ripple frequency PSRR rolls off, so a switching pre-regulator upstream should be followed by an LC filter if the converter's switching noise falls within the regulator's passband.
Built-in protection and package isolation
Over-current, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection are integrated — the regulator shuts down or clamps before the load or the pass element sees a fault condition. The TO-220-3 Full Pack (TO-220FP) isolates the backside tab electrically, so no separate mica insulator or thermal pad is needed when bolting to a heatsink in a metal enclosure.
