The 1.5KE11CA_R2_00001: With a 9.4 V reverse standoff voltage, it holds off normal DC rails up to that level without conducting leakage; when a transient exceeds the 10.5 V minimum breakdown, the device clamps to a maximum 15.6 V, shunting up to 96 A of surge current away from downstream circuitry. The DO-201AE axial-lead package suits through-hole mounting in point-of-use board layouts where the TVS sits close to the protected line — that short lead length between the TVS and the rail minimises the parasitic inductance that would otherwise raise the clamp voltage above the 15.6 V figure during a fast transient.
