The onsemi MOC3022SR2VM is a 1-channel Triac-output optoisolator in a 6-SMD Gull Wing package, rated for 4170 Vrms isolation and 400 V off-state voltage. It has no zero-crossing circuit, so the Triac fires immediately when the LED current exceeds the 10 mA max trigger threshold — suitable for phase-control or random-turn-on loads like resistive heaters or incandescent lamps. The 100 µA typical hold current keeps the Triac latched once fired, and the 1.15 V typical forward voltage at 60 mA max LED current defines the drive-side power budget.
Operating from -40°C to 85°C, it fits industrial control boards and appliance power stages without derating over the full temperature range.
Compliance and approvals
Listed as Active with ROHS3 compliance, and carries IEC/EN/DIN and UL approvals — accepted in European and North American equipment designs.
