Each channel uses a DC-driven LED (1.45V typical forward voltage) coupled to a phototransistor output rated for 20V maximum and 8mA per channel. The current transfer ratio spans 19% to 50% at 16mA forward current, giving the designer a known gain window for logic-level translation across the isolation barrier.
