The HCPL0601 is a single-channel optoisolator from onsemi that provides galvanic isolation between a logic-side input and an open-collector output, rated for 3750 Vrms isolation.

Supply voltage range is 4.5 V to 5.5 V, so it runs cleanly off a 5 V rail — no extra regulator needed if your logic side is 5 V. The open-collector output can be pulled up to a different voltage, allowing level translation from 5 V logic to a 3.3 V or 24 V downstream interface, as long as the output sink current stays under 50 mA per channel.
