AC/DC input — one opto for both line and logic
The H11AA1TVM accepts both AC and DC input drive, so a single part number covers detecting 50/60 Hz mains presence or a DC logic signal — no need to stock separate AC-input and DC-input optoisolators for the same BOM position.
20% CTR floor and 50 mA output drive
Minimum current transfer ratio of 20% at 10 mA forward current means the output transistor can sink at least 2 mA when the LED is driven at 10 mA — enough to pull a logic input low or drive a low-power relay directly. Output transistor is rated for 30 V collector-emitter and 50 mA continuous current, with a 400 mV max Vce(sat) — the saturation voltage stays low enough to keep power dissipation in the 6-DIP package manageable at the rated current.
Through-hole 6-DIP — legacy-friendly footprint
Housed in a 6-DIP package with 0.400-inch row spacing, the H11AA1TVM fits standard DIP sockets or wave-solder through-hole pads — no reflow profile or paste stencil change needed for a mixed-technology board.
