The onsemi 6N137WV is a single-channel optoisolator rated for 10 Mbps data rates with an open-collector output — the 75 ns max propagation delay (tpLH/tpHL) sets the timing budget for a 10 Mbps NRZ signal across the isolation barrier. It provides 2500 Vrms galvanic isolation, sufficient for basic isolation in industrial fieldbus interfaces, motor-drive feedback paths, and PLC digital inputs where the bus voltage stays below 250 Vrms working. The 10 kV/µs (typ) common-mode transient immunity means the output does not glitch when a fast voltage step — from a switching power supply or a motor-drive PWM edge — couples across the barrier.
