Product details

Wireless MCU with 34 GPIO and 2.4GHz dual-protocol radio

The ESP32-D0WD is a TxRx + MCU combining a 2.4GHz radio supporting 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2 with a microcontroller core, 448kB ROM and 520kB SRAM. With 34 GPIO, it provides enough I/O for sensor arrays, display interfaces, and peripheral control without an external port expander.

NRND — plan a last-time buy or migrate now

This means the part is still available for existing production but is not intended for new projects — a successor or alternative should be qualified before the next BOM revision.

Supply and package options for BOM planning

Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) packaging, surface-mount in a 48-VFQFN Exposed Pad package with a 5x5 mm footprint.

Frequently asked questions

Is ESP32-D0WD obsolete or still available for purchase?

It is NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs) per Espressif. It remains available for existing production runs, but new designs should select a current-generation ESP32 variant. We can source it for your BOM — request a quote.
