The ECS-2520S30-250-FN-TR is a standard crystal oscillator (XO) from ECS Inc. that outputs a 25 MHz HCMOS square wave from a single 3V rail. The Enable/Disable pin lets the oscillator be gated without removing the supply rail — a 10 µA maximum disable current means standby power stays negligible on a 3V rail, so power-sensitive MCU clock trees can assert and de-assert the output under firmware control.
Supply current and thermal profile
Maximum supply current is 7 mA at 25°C ambient — the active draw is dominated by the HCMOS output stage, which sources and sinks into the PCB trace impedance. For battery-backed designs the disable state at 10 µA is the relevant number.
