High-temperature automotive crystal
The ECS-100-8-30Q-VY-TR: The ECX-53Q series crystal, 10 MHz fundamental mode, carries AEC-Q200 qualification — the automotive-stress screening that opens the door to engine-bay and powertrain-control deployments where most crystals top out at 125 °C. The -40 °C to 150 °C rating covers cold-crank soak and sustained high-ambient heat without a derating asterisk on the frequency accuracy. Load capacitance is 8 pF with ±30 ppm initial tolerance and ±150 ppm frequency stability across the operating range — a standard crystal pairing for most MCUs that specify an 8 pF load, and the ESR of 100 Ohms is unremarkable for this frequency and mode.
Package and board footprint
Surface-mount reflow profile; no orientation pin because the crystal is symmetric — there is no polarity to get wrong on placement, which Field-Service types appreciate when swapping on a bench without schematic reference.
