Those two numbers together mean it can close a loop at gains of 10 or more while still passing a 1 MHz signal with minimal phase shift, and it can swing a 10 V output step in about 600 ns. That puts it in the fast-settling, wideband signal-conditioning class — think photodiode transimpedance amplifiers, active filters in the low-MHz range, or fast ADC input buffers where the 30 µV input offset doesn't force a trim pot.
Through-hole 8-PDIP — legacy footprint, still in production
The 8-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) body with through-hole mounting is the classic dual-in-line footprint. It's a board-level decision: wave-solder or hand-solder, no reflow profile to manage, and it sockets easily for prototyping or field replacement. Temperature grade is -25°C to 85°C, which covers most indoor industrial and commercial equipment but not the -40°C low end for outdoor telecom or engine-bay electronics.
