What the 3.075V threshold means for your rail
The MAX795TCSA: If your 3.3V rail dips below about 3.0V, this part asserts reset. It catches brownouts before the downstream logic starts seeing undefined states. The reset timeout is 140ms minimum, which gives the main supply enough time to stabilize after power-up before the processor is released from reset. That 140ms window covers most bulk-capacitor charging profiles on a 3.3V rail.
Output type and pull-up requirement
The output is active-low, open drain — it pulls low when the monitored voltage falls below threshold, and goes high-impedance when the rail is good. You need an external pull-up resistor to Vcc or the processor's I/O voltage; the value isn't critical, but 10kΩ to 100kΩ is the usual range. Without that resistor, the reset line floats and the processor never sees a clean release.
Package and temperature grade
The supplier device package is the same 8-SOIC, so no footprint mismatch between the order code and the actual part. That covers most indoor equipment, office gear, and consumer electronics, but not automotive or extended industrial environments. If the board sees -20°C or 85°C ambient, this part is outside its rated range.
