Three SPDT switches in a 16-SOIC — what the ratings mean for your signal path
The MAX4053ACSE+T contains three SPDT switches in a 16-SOIC package, each configured as a 2:1 multiplexer or demultiplexer. Channel-to-channel crosstalk is -90 dB at 100 kHz, meaning bleed-through between active and off channels stays well below the noise floor of a 16-bit ADC path. Off-leakage current is 100 pA maximum, so the switch doesn't load your high-impedance source. Channel capacitance (CS(off), CD(off)) is 2 pF each — negligible for audio and low-frequency multiplexing, but worth checking against your amplifier's input capacitance for stability at higher gains.
