Single-channel 5000Vrms optocoupler with transistor output

The Toshiba TLP385(D4-GRL,E is a single-channel transistor-output optocoupler in a surface-mount package with 4 leads. It provides 5000Vrms of galvanic isolation between a DC input LED and a phototransistor output.

The 5000Vrms isolation rating covers reinforced insulation requirements for industrial equipment. The current transfer ratio (CTR) is specified at 100% minimum and 300% maximum when the LED forward current is 5mA.
