Technical Details & Description

The TLP183(BLL-TPL,E: Rated for 3750Vrms isolation between primary and secondary sides. Single DC-input channel with transistor output. The phototransistor saturates below 300mV Vce at 5mA LED drive, which keeps the logic-level low on a 3.3V or 5V MCU input without an extra pull-up resistor.

CTR binning and temperature range

Current transfer ratio is binned from 200% min to 600% max at If=5mA. The 'BLL' suffix selects the 200–600% range. The 6-SOP package has a 4.40mm body width, same footprint as a standard SOIC-6, so it drops onto existing layouts without a pad revision.

ROHS3 compliant, no exemption expiry to track. The 6-SOP package is widely second-sourced by other optocoupler manufacturers if a cross is ever needed, but the Toshiba TLP183 series is the primary reference for this footprint and CTR bin.
