1.2V fixed LDO with 2 µA quiescent current
The Toshiba TCR2LF12,LM(CT is a 200mA positive fixed-output LDO regulator delivering a 1.2V rail from a maximum 5.5V input. The 1.25V dropout voltage at 150mA defines the headroom needed between input and output — at full load, the input must stay above 2.45V to keep the 1.2V rail in regulation. Below that, the output follows the input minus the dropout.
Package and board-fit for the SC-74A footprint
Housed in the SC-74A (SOT-753) package with supplier device package designation SMV, this is a 5-pin surface-mount part. The 0.95mm pitch and small body suit compact layouts where board area is tight — think wearable or IoT sensor nodes. The enable pin allows the output to be gated by a logic-level signal, letting a microcontroller or power-management IC shut down the 1.2V rail when the load is idle. Overcurrent protection is built in — the regulator limits output current under fault rather than latching off or relying on an external fuse.
