Low on-resistance load switch for 1A rails
The Toshiba TCK107AF,LF is a single-channel power load switch in a tiny SC-74A (SOT-753) package, rated for 1A continuous output with a typical on-resistance of 63mOhm. It handles load voltages from 1.1V to 5.5V, covering common logic rails (1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V) and battery-powered supplies. The low Rds(on) keeps voltage drop and self-heating under control at full load — at 1A the drop is roughly 63mV, which matters when the downstream rail has tight tolerance. The SMV supplier device package footprint is compatible with standard surface-mount assembly.
ROHS3 compliant, no exemption issues for EU markets.
The 63mOhm typical on-resistance is the headline figure for this load switch. At 1A output, expect about 63mV of drop across the switch — that is tight enough for a 5V rail feeding a downstream regulator or peripheral, but worth checking if the load is near the 1A limit and the supply is at the low end of the 1.1V to 5.5V range. The 1A maximum output current is a continuous rating; the part is sized for moderate loads like sensor clusters, small motors, or power-gating sections of a board.
