What is the TC4W53FU,LF?
The Toshiba TC4W53FU,LF is a dual single-pole single-throw (SPST) analog multiplexer/demultiplexer — essentially two independent 1:1 switches in one 8-pin package. Each channel can pass analog or digital signals up to the supply rails, with a maximum on-resistance of 160 ohms.
The 160-ohm max on-resistance is the ceiling across temperature and voltage; typical values will be lower, but the BOM should budget for the worst-case voltage drop at the switched current. For a signal with 1 µA leakage, the drop is negligible — but if you are switching a resistive load pulling a few milliamps, the voltage error becomes significant.
